Performance Place

Performance Place is a Sports Chiropractic clinic that creates various media - articles, podcast, videos - on injury and rehab topics. Before working with them, they had a developing eCommerce store, but their current solution was not capitalizing on their website traffic.

Performance Place’s branding was not well developed in that they did not have a style guide or any visual direction; this affected the website most of all as well as their collateral.

One of the first things we addressed was Performance Place’s branding. The logo looked outdated and there was no brand guide or visual design system to reference.

As for the website, the content was mostly in long form on single pages and lacked any kind of structural hierarchy. We worked with Performance Place to create a more structured site map that would better cater the amount of content they hosted. We also had to consider that a lot of their users were viewing content on mobile devices and we would need to take considerations for it.

Part of our rebranding efforts, we developed a comprehensive brand guide that would not only guide the visual design of the website but any other future features or other physical collateral Performance Place might want to produce.

Conclusion

We improved engagement metrics, highlighted by an increase of the average time on page by over 20% across the entire site as well as a decrease in average bounce rate by 75%.
